About Text Case Conversion
Sentence Case
Sentence case is the standard format for writing in English. It capitalizes the first letter of the first word in a sentence and proper nouns.
This is the most common format for general writing, emails, and most content.
Example: This is a sentence. Another sentence follows.
lowercase
Lowercase formatting removes all capitalization from your text, making every letter lowercase.
Example: this is all lowercase text.
UPPERCASE
Uppercase formatting capitalizes every letter in your text. It's often used for emphasis or headings.
Example: THIS IS ALL UPPERCASE TEXT.
Capitalized Case
Capitalized case (or Start Case) capitalizes the first letter of every word in your text.
Example: This Is Capitalized Case Text.
aLtErNaTiNg cAsE
Alternating case switches between lowercase and uppercase letters throughout your text.
Example: tHiS iS aLtErNaTiNg CaSe TeXt.
Title Case
Title case capitalizes the first letter of each major word (nouns, verbs, adjectives) while leaving articles, conjunctions, and prepositions lowercase unless they're the first word.
